Story Pocket Theatre is an award-winning family theatre company devoted to bringing both classic and original children's stories to the stage in a magical, inventive and exciting way. Productions centre around the art of storytelling, creating a journey for audiences with the aim to inspire a life-long love of stories and theatre. The seven shows since its formation are: Arabian Nights; The Nutcracker; A Pocketful of Grimms; Storyteller, Storyteller, Michael Morpurgo's King Arthur, an adaptation of David Baddiel's children's book, AniMalcolm and most recently Allan and Janet Ahlberg’s The Jolly Christmas Postman.

The company has also developed the popular Pub Quiz for Kids which has toured comedy and family festivals and venues across the UK as well as moving online during lockdown building a wonderful regular following of families. The company has won two awards at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for Arabian Nights and for consistently producing superb entertainment for children.

Story Pocket creates magical and vibrant theatre that, while primarily aimed at children, is entertaining for the whole family. It has supported actors, composers and designers who have been starting out in this industry and has performed at the Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall with extensive tours across the UK plus abroad in Poland, Dubai and Switzerland. Michael Morpurgo is the Patron of the company. They are keen to support the next generation of creatives entering the arts industry.
